Why Participate in a Clinical Study?
Participation in clinical research may provide access to study-related care and services, which can be especially valuable for individuals who are underinsured or uninsured.
Participation may include:
- Regular medical evaluations and ongoing health monitoring
- Study-related medication provided at no cost
- Laboratory testing (including blood work)
- Blood pressure monitoring and management
- Select diagnostic testing, including imaging and scans, as required by the study
- Education and lifestyle support
- Access to registered dietitians, depending on the study
- Ongoing interaction with licensed healthcare professionals
Participation is voluntary, and all studies are conducted under IRB approval and an informed consent.

Who We Serve?
We serve a region with a high burden of obesity and diabetes, where many patients have had limited access to pharmacologic treatment. This results in a population with significant unmet medical needs and limited prior exposure to medical care and other metabolic therapies.
